FLOOR TRANSITIONS

Thresholds, Reducers &
T-Moulds

Manufactured from your flooring material—or from unfinished stock when preferred—for easy, seamless installation, this product ensures a smooth transition between matching floors or differing surfaces, heights, or materials.

Each product lists the compatible materials it can be made from.

T–mould transitions are used between two flooring surfaces of similar or equal height.
  • Standard: To transition between flooring of equal height.
  • Offset: To transition between flooring with a slight height difference.

A reducer is a transition piece used to bridge the gap and height difference between two flooring surfaces, typically when moving from a higher floor to a lower one—such as from hardwood to vinyl or tile to carpet. It provides a smooth, safe, and visually clean transition between materials.

  • Standard: To transition between two flooring surfaces, from a higher height to a lower one. The back of the transition would bud up to the higher flooring material.
  • Overlapping: This transition is typically used after the flooring has already been installed.
  • Possible to be manufactured in: prefinished, unfinished, laminate, and vinyl.
